Act as Corporate Communications writer, public relations contact, and Web manager for world's largest education publisher.

- Public Relations: Identify public relations opportunities, building media relationships, pitching stories and writing press releases. Successfully pitched several projects in first six months and placed experts on television and in print media.
- Writing: Write copy for internal newsletter (circulation 30,000), press releases, media alerts and articles. Created new corporate brochure to capture the seventy-odd companies and imprints within Pearson Education.

- Marketing

Responsible for production of the Spring and Fall 1999 Scholastic Technology Guide (circ. 80,000), a biannual 250-pg. resource guide for the education market, produced by Scholastic Marketing Partners. Handled all Internet and print research, created database of over 2,500 vendors. Generated sales leads for advertising totaling over $500K first issue. Acted as liaison between production, design and editorial teams.
